Mar 18, 2018-Nepali Congress (NC) senior leader Ram Chandra Poudel has said that the party needs a leadership that would win the hearts of the people.
Speaking during the inauguration ceremony of the 7th General Assembly of Nepal Civil Servants Union (Association) in Ratnanagar, Chitwan on Sunday, leader Poudel, referring to NC President Sher Bahadur Deuba, said that only by holding powerful position in the party will not be enough to strengthen the party organisation. He further said that the NC has become weak and a major intervention is needed to strengthen the party.
Likewise, leader Poudel accused the government of trying to threaten the judiciary and constitutional bodies with the two-thirds majority, adding that democracy would be in peril unless NC becomes strong.
