Elderly woman killed with sharp weapon in Palpa

Feb 16, 2018-An elderly woman was killed by using a sharp weapon in Pokharathok of Baganaskali-2, Palpa district on Friday.

Bishnu Prasad Khanal, 63 murdered his neighbour Ishwori Bhattarai, 65 today, police informed.

DSP Binod Ghimire said that Khanal killed Bhattarai when the latter’s daughter-in-law was the only person in the home.

Khanal, who fled the scene after the incident, was arrested from Bartung of Tansen Municipality-5, police said.

The motive behind the murder is yet to the established, DSP Ghimire said.
