Feb 16, 2018-In a heinous incident, a boy murdered his 11-year-old sister after raping her in Saptari district of Province 2.
Rajdev Mandal, 18, of Lalpatika, Khadga Municipality-9 in the district, allegedly killed his uncle’s daughter after sexually assaulting her, said SP Mukesh Kumar Singh.
Although the incident took place on February 8, police revealed it only on Friday fearing the suspect could flee. The accused is now in police custody.
Mandal was made public in front of media at Saptari District Police Office today.
In another similar incident in the district, police disclosed that a two-year-old child was raped by a 12-year-old boy in Chinnamasta Rural Municipality on Thursday. Police have already arrested the boy and started investigation.
