A new art space in town


Feb 15, 2018-A new art space in Kathmandu, Kathmandu Art, has opened to the public beginning this week.

The new gallery is the collaborative project of three art enthusiasts, Seetashma Thapa, Francois Driard and Namgyal Sherpa.
Kathmandu Art currently has on display a wide variety of works, from acrylic to oil paintings, prints, etched sketches, scultprues, and digital prints, among others.  The debut exhibit has on display works by artists such as Sabita Dangol, Bidhata KC, Bhairaj Maharjan, Dr Seema Sharma Shah, Manish Lal Shrestha, Uma Shanker Shah, Sushma Shakya, Sujan Dangol, and Ishan Pariyar, among others.

The gallery is situated in Le Sherpa Restaurant in Lazimpat, and will be open from 11 am to 8pm every day (except for Mondays).
