Dec 26, 2017-Upcoming Nepali film Happy Days, which is slated to bring actors Dayahang Rai and Priyanka Karki as onscreen partners once again, dropped its trailer on Sunday via Youtube. Prior to this, the producers had also released the song Chepte Chepte as a teaser to the feature film’s imminent release.
Alongside Rai and Karki, Happy Days will feature actors Vikky Joshi, Sanjay Gupta, Jenisha Limbu, and Rupa Pun, among others. The film also features Deeya Pun and Jane Buckle in cameo roles. Filmed under the banner of London Cine Eyes and Chams Entertainment, Happy Days is slated to hit the screens on January 26, 2018. Prior to this Dayahang Rai and Priyanka Karki have been lauded for their onscreen chemistry and have been featured together in movies such as Lal Tin, Jhole, and the hit Kabbadi Kabbadi. Happy Days will be released concurrently in countries such as the UK, Australia, and Hong Kong, before it releases in Nepal. The film is director Milan Chams’ fourth feature directorial, following Hasiya (2014), Bir Bikram (2015), and Blind Rocks.
Happy Days, the producers have said, is a romantic-drama revolving around a love triangle. Shot entirely in the Great Britain, the film, according to its producers, was made with a total budget of Rs 2.5 crores.
