Mar 3, 2018-Senior orthopedic surgeon Dr Govinda KC has warned of staging another protest if his demand of removing Chief Justice Govinda Parajuli through impeachment was not met.
Dr KC has demanded KC be impeached if he refuses to resign from his post.
Speaking to Kantipur Daily, Dr KC said he would begin his protest from March 13 if his demands were not met. He claimed there was no alternative than to remove Parajuli by impeaching him to maintain the clean image of judiciary and prevent impunity.
KC said Parajuli censoring media organisation was an attempt to cover up his wrongdoings. “What can be more shameful than censoring press in a democratic system?,” he questioned.
KC is currently in Nuwakot conducting a free health camp. All the expenses of the camp are being covered by KC himself. He will return to Kathmandu on Sunday.
