Feb 6, 2018-Two Madhes-based parties—Sanghiya Samajwadi Forum Nepal and Rastriya Janata Party Nepal—are holding a meet at Janakpur to discuss the formation of government in Province 2.
Both the parties had held their separate internal meetings earlier in the day, after which they sat for joint discussion, said RJPN presidium member Rajendra Mahato. “This is the first meeting of the parties for forming government,” said Mahato.
The discussion is revolving around the government formation, shared responsibilities among parties, chief minister, speaker, deputy speaker and responsibilities in ministry, according to Mahato.
RJPN six presidium members Mahanta Thakur, Rajendra Mahato, Anil Jha, Sharat Singh Bhandari, Mahendra Yadav and Raj Kishore Yadav are present in the meeting. Likewise, Upendra Yadav, Lal Babu Raut and Renu Yadav are participating in the meeting from SSFN.
Emerging from the meeting, Renu Yadav said that the meeting could last till the evening.
