Jan 21, 2018-Provincial Assembly members of all the seven provinces took the oath of office and secrecy on Sunday.
The swearing was held as per the constitution. The Provincial Chiefs administered the oath to the senior most member of the provincial assembly followed by the latter administering the oath to the remaining members of the House.
The Election Commission on Friday had submitted the list of candidates elected to the provincial assemblies to the seven governors soon after they took their oath from President Bidya Devi Bhandari.
