Dec 30, 2017-Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba wished for happiness, peace, good health and prosperity to the Gurung community living in the country and abroad on the occasion of the Tamu Lhosar festival on Saturday.
In a message of best wishes, the PM said that such unique festivals have a great importance in our multiethnic, multilingual, multi religious and geographically diverse country. The PM has wished for inspiration for making a prosperous country through tolerance among all Nepalis on the occasion of this festival. Meanwhile, CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli has also extended best wishes to all Nepalis at home and abroad on the occasion of Tamu Lhosar, the great festival of Gurung community. In a press statement issued today, Oli has wished for good health and progress for the entire Gurung community members on the occasion of this New Year. Enjoying the festival of a community by the members of other community is the unique characteristics of Nepalis, reads the statement.
Chairman Oli has also expressed the commitment to advance the country towards stability and development in accordance with the responsibility given to the left alliance by the people from the recent elections. RSS
